Guitars.
Here's a small sampling of my work over the years.

Working on a future book titled “How to get a quick neck profile with a Shinto saw, and other things no one will be impressed by at parties...”

Where I spend the most time. Also a little nerve racking, it never fails, I always end up yelling “where the hell is the truss rod!?”

Hand made, the hard way.

πΆBecause I’m a moronπΆ Currently behind schedule in every aspect of my life, and possibly moving into a bigger house. WHAT’S 1 MORE LOG ON THE FIRE?! π₯ #greatguitarbuildoff #greatguitarbuildoff2021 #ggbo #ggbo21

Hey, I have a website again! It’s not much, but I’ll build on to it here and there. Thanks to @shinyuu and @kyleniemier for the good photos, and @thecolddesert for the new logo! I added the website to my bio, check it out and let me know what you think!

“The Nail”. The task of rebranding and pivoting to original designs has taken up most of my free time in 2020. “The Nail” is the first of the new design out the door, with a ~60year old nail sawed with the board. I’m excited for next year and excited to crank out a few more of these. Thanks everyone, happy holidays, merry christmas, let’s get on to 2021. ππ€

Now sit.... and stay. Letting this one sit under tension for a bit, then a final setup and another once over. Should be in it’s new home before Xmas! π

New logo from the ridiculously talented @thecolddesert. Special thanks to @ac_ezekiel and @thecolddesert for the help on the headstock design as well!

That’ll do it on this finish. All downhill from here!

First time using @odiesoil. impressive.

Ignore the loud chicken π in the background.

Elwood’s favorite part π

This has been a long time coming. from sketch book , to templates, to mock up.
This has been a cool project for me personally. For those that know, my “brand” has largely been F-style guitars made with CNCs. I really wanted to push myself and simultaneously get back to the roots of electric guitar making. Making guitars by hand in my small shop. Inspired by so many fellow guitar makers today. it’s been an awesome journey thus far. ultimately my goal will be getting back to using CNCs, but it’s very rewarding, analyzing why I do things a certain way etc. hopefully you guys dig the new house model (actual name TBD).
Thanks to those who have already reached out. While I have a few in the pipeline, I’m probably not able to handle new orders until early next year. ππ€

There’s no AzCards game today. So if you need me I’ll be doing this for hours.

So this is my latest project, actually it’s jumped the line of a few projects for reasons that will be revealed soon! While my friends in Oregon were chopping down the cedar tree into blanks, they found a nail that had been completely absorbed by the tree over time. Counting rings, they guessed the nail was hammered into the tree about 60 years ago! While it made for a cool surprise, it wasn’t in the moment. This little thing broke a bandsaw blade! I think it will make for a very cool guitar though.
